It's O'Neal Library's monthly Mahjong Meetup!!
If you already know how to play Mahjong, you’re welcome to join us for any of our weekly meetups—no registration required!
We meet every Monday, and play is first come, first served. The library provides tables, Mahjong sets, and mats, so all you need to bring is yourself.
If you are new to Mahjong and would like to learn, we offer a beginner lesson on the first Monday of each month.
Lessons are limited to 12 participants.
If you want to take a lesson, please plan to attend ALL meetups in the month you have your lesson.
We have set up the Mahjong lessons so you will learn the tiles at the first meetup, then, for the next 3 meetups, you will play practice games with the other students. During this guided game play our teacher walks among the beginner tables and answers questions, gives tips on your hand, etc.

Please note: our beginner lessons are very popular, and we usually have a waiting list of several months. We encourage you to register well in advance so we can reserve your place in an upcoming session.
