Help make the community more beautiful! Meet librarians at the Mountain Brook Elementary Field on Heathermoor Rd.
Love volunteering outdoors? Mountain Brook Parks & Recreation needs your help with an outdoor service project. We meet teen volunteers at the Mountain Brook Elementary field along Heathermoor Road. Together, we will weed undergrowth, plant sod, and install a split rail fence to make Mountain Brook more beautiful and safe for all! Supplies will be provided.
All volunteers must wear old clothes (shirt, long pants) and closed-toed shoes you don't mind getting mess on! Please bring the following materials to the service program on June 16:
This program is for students rising to grades 7-12. Registration is APPRECIATED. Got questions? Email young adult librarians Michelle Cheng and Gracie Roth at teens@oneallibrary.org. In the event of rain or severe weather on June 16, the outdoor service project will be CANCELED. The Parks & Recreation volunteer event is part of our Summer of Service program series, so you will receive volunteer hours for your participation. Log your attendance in our 2025 Challenge Yourself Challenge for a chance to win a prize at the end of the summer!
