Aesthetic Room Decorating

Add good luck and good vibes to your personal space with Feng Shui!

New Year = New You! Curating a beautiful bedroom is an excellent way to reset for a brand new year.

Katie Rogers, a Feng Shui Consultant in Birmingham, AL, will be leading a two-hour workshop to help you create an aesthetic AND useful space. Learn to draw floor plans, rearrange your room so that it optimizes relaxation and productivity, find decorating inspiration from elements of Feng Shui, and create an aesthetic mood board for your new room. FREE muffins and hot cocoa will be provided to fuel your creativity!

How to Prepare for the Workshop:

• Write down what you love to do in your room. Do you like to read on your bed, study and complete homework at your desk, journal, craft, play video games?
• Write down things you'd like to improve in your room. Do you want to add more decorations and color but feel overwhelmed by the task? Do you have trouble sleeping or studying in your room?
• Take a picture of your bedroom from your bedroom door. Try to get the full view of the space!
• Measure the walls of your room (length, width, height). If possible, measure the placement of doors and windows from one corner of the wall to the other.

About the Instructor: Katie Rogers Feng Shui is based in the vibrant Birmingham, Alabama. Katie changed careers to become a Feng Shui consultant. Now, she offers consultations world-wide via Skype. and/or phone! Katie is the founder of the Wind Horse School of Feng Shui, which offers both a personal transformation program as well as the certification track.
