A 3-week course teaching basics for machine sewing.

The O'Neal Library Makerspace provides this free, 3-week course on sewing for adults in which we will learn the basic skills required to sew on a sewing machine. By the end of this course, you will be able to operate a sewing machine, execute various utility stitches, and tackle a beginner sewing project of your choice.

Bernette b35 sewing machines are provided during instruction. No previous experience is required for this course. If you would like to bring in your own sewing machine, please contact Sara Hardy at shardy@oneallibrary.org to make arrangements.

Registering for the course will automatically register you for all four weeks:

Session 1: 7/8 @ 4:00-5:30pm

Session 2: 7/15 @ 4:00-5:30pm

Session 3: 7/22 @ 4:00-5:30pm

If you have questions, please contact Sara Hardy at shardy@oneallibrary.org.
