Love volunteering outdoors? Mountain Brook Parks & Recreation needs your help with an outdoor service project. Meet librarians and Parks & Rec staff at the Cahaba River Walk: 3529 Overton Rd, Mountain Brook, AL 35223, near Liberty Park. Together, we will assemble some steps and build a gravel path to make it easier to traverse the park! Supplies will be provided.

All volunteers must wear old clothes (shirt, long pants) and closed-toed shoes you don't mind getting mess on! Please bring the following materials to the service program on June 11:

• Sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat)
• Filled water bottle
• OPTIONAL materials to bring: gloves, cooling towel, lunch

This program is for students rising to grades 7-12. Registration is APPRECIATED. Got questions? Email young adult librarians Michelle Cheng and Henry Goff at teens@oneallibrary.org. In the event of rain or severe weather on June 11, the outdoor service project will be CANCELED. The Parks & Recreation volunteer event is part of our Summer of Service program series, so you will receive volunteer hours for your participation!
