Donate Supplies or Help Us Package Them!
The O'Neal Library is accepting supply donations of menstrual products in June 2024. Community members may bring any of the following items to the 2nd Floor of the Reference Desk on June 1st-June 24th:
Help librarians package menstrual product donations into kits on June 24 at 2-4PM, which will also include a discussion about menstrual literacy led by a social worker. All kits will be donated to the Way Station, a homeless shelter for young adults. CLICK to Learn More about them!
This service program is for students rising to grades 7-12. Registration is APPRECIATED for anyone joining librarians on Packaging Day. Got questions? Email young adult librarians Michelle Cheng and Gracie Roth at teens@oneallibrary.org. The Menstrual Kit supply drive and packaging event is part of our Summer of Service program series, so you will receive volunteer hours for assisting the Way Station.
