About the Speaker:
Hi! I’m Odontuya Adiya—most people call me Odno. I’m from Mongolia and currently interning at the Mountain Brook Library until May 15.
I started my career as a journalist at a local news website, and now I work in tourism, guiding trips across Mongolia. I’m especially passionate about developing sustainable tourism in our national parks—supporting local communities while protecting nature, wildlife, and cultural traditions. I hold a BA in English and an MSc in Tourism Management, and I’ve had the chance to travel to Europe, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Russia.
I’d love to share stories about Mongolia and answer any questions you might have. Come join the event to learn more—and try some Mongolian snacks!
