HELP US WITH LIBRARY CARNIVAL PREP, ACTIVITIES, AND CLEANUP!

The O'Neal Library is putting together a magical fairy tale carnival on Friday, October 17th at 6-7:15PM. If you're good with kids, love to dress up, and enjoy carnival settings, then the library needs your help! Register to become a teen volunteer at A Night Dark & Grimm. 

All Grimm volunteers must:

  • Attend the entirety of the Grimm Carnival Volunteer timeslot: Friday, October 18th at 5:30-7:30PM
  • Wear a library-provided costume and act as a fairy tale character during the carnival (kind of like at Disney)
  • Assist librarians at activity booths, which range from crafts to physical activities
  • Help with carnival clean-up until 7:30pm.

Perks of being a Grimm Teen Volunteer: FREE pizza dinner on Oct 17, service hour sign-off from librarians, and fun memories! Invite your friends to participate in this rewarding volunteer opportunity!

Volunteer Registration REQUIRED. You'll receive specific carnival tasks through email and GroupMe messages. Got questions? Email young adult librarians Michelle Cheng at teens@oneallibrary.org.

DROP-IN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Help the librarians with Grimm Carnival Prep on October 13-16 at 3:00-closing time! Tasks include sorting prizes, packaging activity kits, and constructing carnival props. Visit the Children's Desk for tasks.
