I am a Birmingham native, and I studied history at the University of Montevallo.  Working in the Circulation Department has been very enjoyable – every day is different, and the staff and patrons are great. 
 
In my spare time, I enjoy cross-stitching and spending time with my Golden Retriever, Sidney.  I named him after my favorite hockey player, Sidney Crosby.  I try to attend at least one Pittsburgh Penguins game each year.  Go Pens!! I also enjoy genealogy and archives.  I have done a lot of family history research.  I love history and travel – especially the U.K., Ireland, and WW2.
