I graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and from the University of Alabama with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies.

As Circulation Librarian at ONL, my main duties are training new employees, helping patrons at the Circulation desk, assisting with collection development for our Inspirational Fiction section, and serving as the library’s city safety committee representative. I also create themed word searches and crossword puzzles that can be found at the Circulation desk!

I always find it rewarding to be able to answer questions and track down hard-to-find materials for patrons. I also have fun helping with some of the library’s programs (my favorite is the Holiday Hair Hulabaloo!).

When not working, I enjoy cross-stitching, volunteering as an English as a second language teacher, and writing. I released my first novel, Nerd Camp, in 2023
