Office Manager, Administration
I studied finance and accounting at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and plan to get a Master’s of Public Administration in the near future. I came to O’Neal Library in 2019 after working in the library world since 2002, beginning while I was still in college.
As Office Manager, my main responsibilities include submitting all invoices to the City of Mountain Brook for payment along with other accounting duties, orientation of new employees, special projects manager, and overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the library itself. I also work closely with the Mountain Brook Library Foundation.
If I could travel to any part of the world, I would travel to Turkey. Since I was little, I have found France and Turkey very fascinating. I really don’t know why, but I suppose I heard relatives talk about those two countries often when I was young. Since I’ve been to France already, Turkey is next!
