I was born in Pakistan and raised in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). I speak four languages: English, Hindi, Urdu (the official national language of Pakistan) and Gujrati (language native to the Indian state of Gujarat). I received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo. 

As a technical services library assistant, I catalogue and process books for the Young Adult and Adult department. 

For fun, I like listening to audiobooks, mostly thrillers or psychology, watching foreign TV shows on Netflix including anime, Bollywood movies, Korean TV shows, and trying new foods, mostly international cuisine. I have a goal of trying every KitKat flavor in existence (mostly Japanese KitKats– there are over 300!)
