Customization of McCall’s Pattern M7988

Based on Dresses of Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls

This is a customized set of instructions and materials for McCall’s Pattern M7988 designed to create a dress and headwear which closely match those found on two of my antique Nancy Ann dolls. This summer I participated in a two sewing camps run by Bib & Tucker Sew-Op which have inspired me to try changing and designing patterns of my own, and this project was the result of that idea. I hope to create the dress in the near future and created these instructions both to organize my own customizations and to provide others with the ability to do the same.
