I started college at the University of Alabama, then transferred to UAB, from which I graduated with a BA in Mass Communications.  

All my duties, ranging from wiping gunk off returned books to running bags of checkouts out to the curbside pickup table, are aimed at making the patrons’ experience here as painless as possible. My favorite part of the job is helping patrons find what they’re looking for, and occasionally turning them on to something they would otherwise never have heard of. 

I like reading horror, crime, and science fiction novels, as well as the occasional drama about people having feelings and stuff. Ever an indoor kid, I also like to watch obscure movies, listen to music, play video games, and watch (but not play) baseball.
