I grew up in Fayette, Alabama where there was a tiny library which my family rarely had a chance to visit. I received my degree in Children’s Ministries from Leavell College in New Orleans, LA. After graduating and moving to Birmingham, I started working in a public library where I developed a love of storytelling and saw the great value a library brings to a community.  

Here at O’Neal, I work with the public in the Children’s Department. I love helping people find a book that they did not even know about, and then hearing it brought them joy! Matching people with a wonderful book is one of my favorite parts of the job!
