I grew up in Birmingham and went to UAB for History and Art History. I earned a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Alabama.  

As a librarian at O’Neal, I manage the DVD, music, audiobook, and Large Print collections. I also design most of the promotional images for the Adult Department. My favorite part of my job is seeing the new materials that come in reach the hands of the people who want them. I also like curating the Library’s Libby collection of downloadable eBooks and audiobooks. 

If I could do one thing as a librarian to improve the community, I would encourage people to pursue life-long learning and never stop being curious!
