The Makerspace is an exploratory community space and hub for art and technology in the library, where community members can create, design, tinker, invent, and craft. In the Makerspace, patrons have access to technologies, tools, and resources to learn a new hobby or skill, start a new business, or invent the next solution to today’s problems. It is an environment for experimentation, learning, and creative play for visitors of all ages.

Anyone can use the Makerspace! Community members and visitors of any age group are welcome to use the space and attend Makerspace programs.
Whether you are making for your small business, a school project, or simply for the joy of creating, the Makerspace is here to support any and all of your making needs. Come to Open Maker Lab to explore our resources and tackle your own creative projects, and see our calendar for upcoming programs and opportunities to make.
The Makerspace is located on the second floor of the O’Neal Library across from the main staircase.
